Northstar™ delivers software as a service to PC users – at any time, anywhere in the world. With a growing library of software applications from major vendors, Northstar ™ gives PC users instant access to the most-up-to-date applications available.
Since Northstar™ is Internet-based, the network offers cross-platform capabilities so that PC users can access their software and personal files from any Internet-enabled device, including a Macintosh computer.
I forgot my password. What should I do?

How do I change my password?
Log into the Northstar Desktop™ and select the “User Profile” menu option. From there, change the password in the password field to your new password and press “Update Profile.” (NOTE: You may see an error message after this step; however, this is a false message. Your password was correctly changed.) At that point, you can log out and then log back in using your updated password.
How do I start my Northstar Desktop™?
From the menu bar on the Northstar™ home page, select "Customer Login." At the log-in screen, enter your User ID and Password. The first screen you will see is your Northstar Desktop™. You must accept the certificate for the signed applet, creating a secure connection to the Northstar™ network.

How do I subscribe to software applications?
Click the Manage Services Admin Toolbar on your Internet desktop to see your Active Services and a list of on-demand desktop applications under Available Services. To subscribe to an application, simply click "subscribe" and then accept the terms and conditions for use of the application. The application will immediately be available on your Internet desktop.
How do I launch applications?
On the Northstar™ homepage, go to "Customer Login." Then enter your user name and password. You should now be on your Northstar™ desktop. Simply single click on the application you wish to open.
Can I upload and download documents between my computer and Northstar™?
Northstar™ easily transfers files, documents and data between your computer and your Internet Desktop. You never again need to email files to yourself or burn CDs. To upload files to Northstar™, click the File Management button on your Internet Desktop, click Choose File and select the appropriate file or document from the pop-up menu. Click Upload Now and your file is uploaded to your network-based user home. This is commonly referred to as your O:\ drive in Northstar™.
